Thummerer Terra Cuvee Rood

Thummerer Terra Cuvee Red from Eger, Hungary. A light but intense ruby red wine that gives off aromas of ripe red berries in a structure of delicate tannins. It is a slightly spicy and harmonious wine. Due to the early harvest, this red wine possesses a certain freshness and youthfulness. Wood aging gives it character and makes it stand firmly on two legs. Wines from the Eger region are often nicely balanced due to the pleasant climate and small temperature differences. Delicious with pasta dishes with tomatoes and also with a tasty osso bucco. Also excellent with duck and goose. The Blauburger grape, a cross between Blaufränkisch and Blauer Portugieser, is known for its deep color and fruity aromas. This red grape offers wines with a good balance between juicy fruit and pleasant spiciness, ideal for lovers of lively and tasty red wines. Kékfrankos: the Hungarian name for Austrian Blaufränkisch.
