Penley Estate Tolmer Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon from Penley Estate, Coonawarra, Australia. Very perfumed nose of pure blackcurrant, anise and violet. In the background you can find sultry French oak notes. The taste is intense brimming with fruit and nicely integrated tannins. The finish is mouthful with light fine acidity. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new barrels. After this aging period, the wine rests in steel tanks for another 6 months.
